My hubby and I just came back from the second day of eating with the family.
Christmas eve we spent at my mom’s, with our traditional food and desserts, good wine and chocolate (yup, I could not help myself, even though I do not handle dairy well…but it’s X-mas once a year, no?:)
Tonight we went to my dad’s and ate more, played with my nieces and chilled.
I decided to use the same LBD (Little Black Dress) both days, just because I wanted to see how different I cold style it.
Christmas eve I decided to style it with blue accessories, mostly because my husband had a blue tie. Yes, we tend to like to match sometimes when we dress up, it’s a little thing we have:) The fabric on the dress has parts with embroderies, and some that are sleek, and the way it is cut enhances the waist, which is good for my bodytype (with hips and shoulders).
Tonight, I decided to use a jacket over the dress. A jacket or blazer can change the look of the dress a lot. Choose a slim-fit or fittet jacket, or, if you do like I did and choose a more square jacket, a belt on the dress with help to enhance the waist (if I would have gone with the jacket without the belt, I would have looked bigger/more square than I need to be). The nude shoes tend to elongate the legs.
